About Alwar:

History:

How to Reach Kota:
By Air: Jaipur (150 km) and Delhi (163 km) are the two nearest airports from Alwar, connecting the town with other parts of Rajasthan as well as in India.
By Train:Delhi to Alwar train Route is very exotic and exiting. The oldest running steam locomotive in the world is the famous Fairy Queen runs in the train route. The warmth and the lavishness of this toy train are extra ordinary. It will take only 3-4 hours to reach Alwar from Delhi.
By Road: Alwar is well connected to different cities of Rajasthan by road. There lays frequent Bus service from Alwar to Sariska, Bharatpur, Deeg and Jaipur. Rajasthan State Transport Corporation (RSTC) also plies on these routes.
