The temple does not have any idol, which works as a unique reason in making Ambaji a popular pilgrimage place. A marble Yantra fixed at a spot is believed to be representative of the mother goddess.

Maa Ambaji TempleOn the fool moon day, Purnima fair is held in the months of Kartik, Chitra and Bhadrapad specifically celebrated by Hindu devotees of state and outside. The goddess here is believed to have the manifestation of Shiva’s consort- Parvati. During the 9 days Navaratri festivals devotees performed prayers and dance within the Mandir premises with great enthusiasm and concentration. They also attend readings of the Saptashati, the seven hundred verses in admiration of the goddess. In the west side of the temple, there exists a Pipal tree, where the visitors circumambulate to prove their esteem to nature.

Kumbharia Jain temples: On the Danta – Ambaji highway there placed another pilgrimage spot as Kumbharia Jain temple. The five temples full of striking engravings and pillars especially at Neminath of white marble are the eminent spots of Ambaji.

Gabbar Hill: Gabbar Hill is placed at a few minute walking distances away from Gabbar. As per Hindu scriptures, Goddess revealed herself on the hill and left imprints of her feet, she is considered as the prime deity of the region also responsible in making Gujarat a nation-wide tour destination.
