Day
1: Bagdogra - Darjeeling
On arrival at Bagdogra, meet and transfer to Darjeeling, Over night halt.
Day 2: Darjeeling
Full day sight seeing of Darjeeling the famous Ghoom Monastery and visit
early morning to Tiger Hill to witness the Sunrise.
Day 3: Darjeeling - Gangtok
Darjeeling to Martam Village and visit Rumtek Monastery both old and new
and soft village trek in the Sang Village. Halt at Gangtok.
Day 4: Gangtok
Gangtok Half Day City Tour-which includes the Enchey Monastery and Noor
Monastery. Over night halt.
Day 5: Gangtok - Lachung
Gangtok to Lachung (North Sikkim), Enroute Phodong Monastery.
Day 6: Lachung
Visit Yumthang Valley after Breakfast and return to Lachung for lunch and
walk around Lachung Village, meet the local people. Lachung Monastery and
day out. Over night halt.
Day 7: Lachung - Gangtok
Lachung to Gangtok, Over night halt.
Day 8: Gangtok - Rabongla
Gangtok to Rabongla/ South Sikkim via Temi Tea Gardens, visit Ralong
Monastery. Over night halt
Day 9: Rabongla - Yuksom
Departure for Yuksom via Kewzing, visit the only Bon Monastery, and trek up
hill to the Tashiding monastery in the hill top. The festival of Bumchu
takes place in the month of Feb-March, Drive to Yuksom. Over night halt.
Day
10: Yuksom
Visit around Yuksom, The Coronation site of the first King of Sikkim in
1642 and the famous Norbugang Chorten, Kathok Lake and Dubdi Monastery. Full
day around Yuksom, a traditional Bhutia Village of Sikkim. Over night halt.
Day 11: Yuksom - Pemayangtse
Drive from Yuksom to Kheocheplari lake to Pemayangtse. Visit Pemayangtse
Monastery and Rabdentse Palace Ruins after Lunch. Over night halt.
Day 12: Pemayangtse - Sangachoeling Monastery - Pemayangtse
Soft Trek to Sangachoeling Monastery, the 2nd oldest monastery in Sikkim
after Pemayangtse. Its mostly used by the lamas for retreat and meditation.
Is also hosts the cremations of Buddhist folks .Return to Pemayangtse and
overnight halt.
Day 13: Pemayangtse
Drive to Kalimpong ,enroute visit Phur Cha Chu-the cave site and hotsprings
in the adjoining river of Rangeet at Legship. Over night Halt.
Day 14: Pemayangtse - Kalimpong
Kalimpong full day sight seeing on nurseries and monasteries.
Day 15: Kalimpong - Bagdogra
Departure for Bagdogra to board the return flight. Tour Ends.
